A 2-week Villa Rental in Central Italy September 16-30

We rented a 13th century villa that was once the hunting retreat for the Duke of Urbino. Frescos on the bedroom walls date back to the 14th century. The grounds include a large garden area, a swimming pool and a spa room which opens to the outdoors. We sometimes got lost in the large kitchen, dining room, living room, recreation room and 10 bathrooms, and we all enjoyed sleeping late in the mornings in our 5 bedroom accomodations. It took awhile to reduce the intimidation of 700 years of history, culture and religion, but we soon called the place ‘home’ and we left a part of each of our hearts there when we departed.
